The exploitation of animals for the purposes of various industries is something so deeply rooted in our way of thinking that nowadays most of us could not imagine the world without meat, dairy products, leather, and other animal-derived products. Unfortunately, this brings with it a whole range of unwanted effects \u2013 pain, stress, and death for the animals directly affected, but also damage to the atmosphere, soil, and water. We should also not overlook the enormous amount of resources and land used to raise, feed, and kill these animals.<\/p>\n
Over the years, movements and policies have emerged with the aim of changing this way of thinking, and even small partial victories can be observed in this direction. However, such initiatives often fail to achieve the desired result because they are too intrusive, loud, or focused on only one specific point, namely animal suffering. This alone should be more than enough reason, but unfortunately for a large part of humanity it is not, and additional arguments are needed for people to give up the consumption of animal products. Most often, the end result is that people turn against the ideas of vegetarianism and veganism because they are not communicated in an understandable and accessible way that shows what alternatives exist.<\/p>\n
Our mission is to present as many aspects of life as possible that are connected to our consumption of animal products \u2013 effects on health, nutrition for training, impact on the environment, jobs, as well as the alternatives that plant-based foods offer in each of these areas. Our goal is to do this in a way that is easy to understand, based on facts free from populism, and to show that life without animal products would not be more difficult.
